Very disappointed in you.I will probably be hated, screenshoted, targeted by adoring fans for this, but I really want to say this out loud.

I am talking about a specific 'group' of people who have an ongoing conflict right now.
Let's start with person R. R is a new arrival, sweet, caring. But drama started because people posted evidence of her tracing someone else's art. Let's call her traceover idols P and F. She deletes the evidence, types a journal and starts drama. People did not see the evidence, so they defend her. They completely lose track of it all. They defend her with 'those styles aren't even theirs! Draw what you want with whatever style.'
PEOPLE.
STYLE REFERENCING AND TRACING ARE TWO VERY DIFFERENT THINGS.
Now L, she's a very well-known artist here. She visits the journal and defends her kindly. Okay. But then? She outright calls artist F a hypocrite and posts some evidence, types a few more mean things about her. Um, excuse me? One, she has

Web Tools: Clipping Magic!

The above image says it all! The geniuses at ClippingMagic.com created this wonderful tool where users can upload their own images and key out the backgrounds.
There is a very simple concept behind it, simply color the general area you want to keep green, then the areas you want to remove red. A yellow line will then outline your selection, giving you the ability to further refine your selection if you arent happy.

Personally, I find the tool to be quite acceptable. It for the most part removes the correct background for any image I upload. With a little fine tuning it can be perfect in seconds. Now keep in mind, this tool is only in alpha, but it is still a wonderful web-based tool that works as advertised!
Now true this is no replacement for Adobe's Photoshop, but for those of you dont own Photoshop this is a wonderful alternative. There are s

Baby News!

I got my second ultrasound today... The first one where I was able to hear or see anything. It was so much fun! I could not stop laughing at this baby in my belly! The ultrasound nurse kept mumbling about how active the baby is. She had to try several times to get its heartbeat lol. But in the first minute was the most hilarious event! She started the ultrasound, and could immediately point out the head and body and such. As she was pointing out the parts, the baby threw up its arms and legs, waved them so wildly as to float up into the middle of the amniotoc sac, and then float back down. When it got back to the bottom, it did it again! lol So funny. I could not stop laughing. The baby did it several times and while the nurse was trying to get the heartbeat. Too cute. Hopefully, at our next ultrasound, we will get to find out what gender the baby is.

2013 Resolutions!

So, 2013 is here. My resolution list is very short this year. Obviously, a healthy baby. In art though, I resolve to submit at least one digital piece of art each month (not including NOMsense or the free art that was decided on in the poll). And at least 3 months out of 2013, I will submit something other than Sailor Moon fanart XD I must go outside my comfort zone and try new things. I also resolve to complete all 12 issues of NOMsense this year.
