Baby News

I am apparently nesting now at 5 and 1/2 months pregnant. I can't sit still at home - no TV gets watched, no games get played, art barely gets any attention... I just clean lol. I completely pulled my kitchen apart and cleaned it top to bottom (insides of cupboards too). Then I put everything back in a completely new place. We got a new pantry as well so my counters could be cleared off of all appliances. I love it! Then I moved on to the living room and computer room. Now, I am digging through bedroom closets in an effort to reorganize in such a way as to throw away as little of my saved collectibles as possible while still giving the girls a full closet, dresser and bookshelf (plus allowing room for Emma's crib and baby stuff when she is born). Not an easy task as I have an entire closet filled with camera equipment and props, another full of sheets, blankets and crafting products, and yet another closet (plus most of the dresser) full of my remaining collectibles... WOE I SAY! (and yet I am enjoying myself lol)

I also got the cutest sketchy owl bed set for the bedroom, have decided on the paint and window treatments, and will be finishing the room shortly after it gets organized, painted and that dang loveseat moved out lol. So progress is being made steadily!

Other Stuff

So, since my home life basically now revolves around my need to cook, bake, clean, reorganize and decorate everything, I haven't been getting much art done lol. I have several sketches just waiting to be done, part of my MTS Round 2 entry done, the free bust mostly done and a bunch of photos to process! But none of that is happening... and since the MTS entry is due on the 26th, I am focusing what little time I manage to accomplish art on that piece. I did finally finish the icons I owe and am almost done with the PUFFS I owe, but again, it is sloooooow going.

I own my Neighbor's Driveway?

We are going to fence in our backyard for the dogs, so we got a survey done to find out exactly where the property line is for the company that will install the fence. It turns out that I own part of my neighbor's driveway and garage!!! We are checking into the law, and if we can, I am going to have them buy that property from me. However, some states have a clause that says that if a landowner does not pursue damages to property being used and improved on within 7 years that the people who have been using and who have improved it are the new legal owners. My home is over 20 years old, so I would have no case in court if our state has this clause. But if they don't, that homeowner is going to have to either pay me rent for using my land or simply buy it from me lol. I can't wait to find out what my options are!! What a strange outcome of that survey XD
